K-Tech

⌎ User Journey Enhancement

Designed while at Nzime

Objective

Develop a presentation to showcase the benefit and need for user journey enhancement between the K-Tech brand site and store site.

Role

I was responsible for creating a presentation to showcase the benefit and need for user journey enhancement. Utilising Hotjar to provide insight driven design decisions.

  • Journey development

  • Research documentation

  • Hotjar integration

Design

I started the project reviewing the K-Tech brand and store experience. understanding the current user journey across each.

Integrating Hotjar provided site Heatmap and User Session Recording, allowing us to inform each design decision utilising user-centric data.

We originally utilised a traffic light approach, however the client needed a visual understanding of each issue, so we decided to share each User Session Recording, allowing the client to see the frustration of each user, and better understand the need for improvement.

We summarised our work into four key findings, explaining the current frustration and how we could fix it.

During this project I learnt how to effectively analyse data, using it to inform design decisions, and how to present each idea utilising our research findings.

I have developed my skill set utilising analytical data to inform design decisions and confidently presented reasoning as to how each area of the brand and store site could be improved through these findings.
